We have had poultry here in Bottisham in one way or another for over 100 years, the main flock of Rhode Island Reds were originally used to supply eggs to the village and the surrounding area, all the birds were kept in moveable wooden huts and kept on grass land.
In the later years when my family members became elderly this was reduced to just our own hens of various diffent breeds wandering around the yard.
Resulting from our family history and people approaching us for poultry, it seemed appropriate to carry on the family legacy and carry on the with the free range chickens.
We now supply poultry specializing in small flocks and domestic free range pullets of various breeds. We also have a great range of British made poultry housing available through this website.
Our chickens are usually supplied at between 15-19 weeks and usually start laying around 22 weeks of age.
All the hens are completely free-range and have the freedom to roam as soon as possible.
